A far flung conspiracy of rich and poor, right and left, old

and young, black and white, etc. In short, pretty much

everybody who`s anybody is in on it.

I shouldn`t have to remind you though not to talk

about it in front of you know who. Please try to be

more careful in the future.

Apparently Henry is tired of confining his spew to a multi-thousand
post thread which hasn`t convinced him of one fucking thing since it
was created in the middle of last year.

Why don`t you light yourself on fire at where the trade center used to
be? Even more people will pay attention to you! You might even get a
blurb on the national news!

Let`s look at your experts.

James Quintiere, Ph.D., former Chief of the Fire
Science Division of the National Institute of Standards
and Technology (NIST), whom you cited as agreeing
with you says the report is flawed because it
underestimated the fuel load but attributes the
collapse to fire.

Bachmann and Schneider have exactly one quote
attributed to the by Daniele Ganser. Schneider
is never even quoted directly. If you know of any
articles written personally by either one, cite them.

Joseph M. Phelps appears to engineer golf courses.
http://www.zoominfo.com/people/Phelps_Joseph_4276043.aspx

secureutah.gov lists a Doyle Winterton as a retired
engeineer/Land Surveyor with an expired Engineer in
Training certificate. If that`s the wrong guy, let`s
see the right one.

Charles Pegelow and WIlliam RIce appear to have
last worked on building design in the 1970s.
Pegelow engineers oil rigs. Rice is retired.

We could go on to your second string experts, but I
don`t find your first string very credible.

There are I think, about 125,000 members of the ASCE
who are OK with the report or, as in the case of Quintierre
question technical details of the fire analysis but don`t buy
into conspiracies. But you knew that already.

When somebody makes a really moronoic assertion
about experts agreeing with them it`s worth maybe
one post to explain to them that they`ve just said
something really stupid.

A smart person at this point will take stock of what
they`re saying and stop saying stuff that`s demonstrably
stupid. A not so smart person will persist and attempt
to make their assertion true by further argument.

I think I know what to expect from Henry but figured
it was worth one statement of the facts anyway.
I apologize for encouraging this bullshit.

8 US Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan Attack

SNAFU, FUBAR, a total complete out of control disaster, whatever you want to call it.  Obama and his general are at odds.  No surprise.  Yesterday on CNN, the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of State were interviewed.  The take home lesson: We’re in Afghanistan for the long haul.  Ummm…not to put too fine a point on it, but we’ve already been IN Afghanistan for the long haul.  Longer that either world war, Korea, or Vietnam.  We’ve been there longer than the Soviets or the Brits or anyone else who’s tried and failed to subdue the Mujahadeen.  No one seems willing to admit that the Taliban is like a cockroach.  You can kill all of them a hundred different ways, leave nothing but a smoking crater, and sooner or later the roach comes crawling out of the rubble, reproduces, and covers your kitchen counters in the dark of night.  Has anyone in Washington heard that old saw about discretion being the better part of valor?  The generals want another “surge”, and I have no doubt that a surge would succeed…as long as we keep surging…which we can’t do forever.  It’s long past time to walk away from this mess, not that that’s going to happen.
