The most pertinent aspect that these wind roses show us is that the
prevailing wind in January and February is NNE, most often in the
speed categories of 7 to 10 or 11-16 mph. This is due to the frequency
of winter high pressure areas in the northern Rockies and Plains
states that come from Canada or the Pacific States and pass eastward
to the north of Texas. The clockwise wind around the high blows down
into San Antonio from the north, but then veers to the NNE as the
center of most of these highs continues eastward through the central
plains, allowing the wind to go even more northeasterly. This is San
Antonio`s cold wind direction

“If the Olympic committee has the audacity to stand up to a lobbyist as powerful as the president of the United States, then surely the president of the United States can stand up to the powerful interests angling to defeat his promise of reform.”

Frank, you are assuming that Obama’s so-called “promise of reform” was a sincere one.

I don’t understand how you can still believe such a thing, Frank.  If Obama believed in reform, he wouldn’t let anyone who smells of ACORN anywhere near the White House
